Certainly the largest / most beautiful of my creations. Months of gestation and sorting, disassembly, component cutting…
With the decommissioning of Cisco 6000 chassis, the reuse of old memory modules from an IBM Z, GPUs from a very old HPC and failed hard drives from another HPC. This table, given its dimensions, had to be made with a long-standing metal partner, the company Pizette.
It is in the lobby of the EDF Nanterre site, and serves as a support for a Lego model of a DC.
- Dimensions WxDxH: 3m x 1.7m x 0.8m
- Total weight without the model: 150kg (structure) + 100kg (glass) + 50kg (components) = 300kg
